Design Testimonials from Happy Clients

“Amy was the designer for the upstairs airbnb in my three bedroom house in North Portland. She did a fantastic job using style and color schemes, making smart decisions with flooring and ceiling options. The attic beforehand was completely unfinished within no floors or ceilings to work with. Two dormers were added which now serve as the bathroom and living room areas, which dramatically increased the square footage and opened up the area bringing in much needed light and space. Amy thought of smart ideas for storage by putting in drawers and closet space in otherwise “dead” areas in the walls that accompany the original A frame design of the house. Although the feel of the space is modern and fresh, it still does not feel out of place in such an old house, and it continues to earn great reviews from the guests who visit while in Portland.” –Mark R (N. “I hired Amy to help with a kitchen remodel, and I can’t say enough good things about her! I had an idea of what I wanted, a strict budget, and not a lot of experience. Amy was great about getting to know my style, and making recommendations based on the best fit. She did a ton of work sourcing materials, getting bids, and comparing prices. As a single working mom, this was a huge help! I never felt awkward talking about the budget, and Amy was great about telling me what was worth spending a little extra on for the biggest impact (hello swoon-worthy light fixtures!). She also has an eye for the big picture… she suggested I take down a dividing wall to open up the space between my kitchen and entryway. That definitely wasn’t in my plan, but boy am I glad I took her advice! My whole space feels like it doubled in size. Trust her judgment, and you’ll be super happy! Amy exudes positive energy, and has a true passion for what she does. I can’t wait to work with her again for my next project!” –Michelle S (SW PDX Trillium Kitchen)
